Korg presenta la Serie XD Recording Studios a 24/96 Bit
Ecco i nuovi registratori a 32 e 16 tracce
per la linea professionale D-Series

Appositamente progettati per rappresentare la vetta tecnologica dei propri Digital Recorders …Korg ha presentato i nuovi D32XD e D16XD..un completo “ ambiente “ di registrazione in una singola workstation.
Entrambe i modelli dispongono della modalità di registrazione senza compressione a 16 o 24 bit con sampling rate a 96 kHz. gestione display 320 x 240 TouchView, 8 canali con compressione analogica in ingresso, Mixer digitale a 64 bit, 4 bande di EQ su ogni canale,Hard disk e CD-RW incorporati e una moltitudine di opzioni In/out digitali ed analogiche.
Entrambe i registratori dispongono di 8 ingressi XLR inputs con alimentazione Phantom individuale piu’ 8 ingressi jack 1/4",un ingresso dedicato al segnale per chitarra, un input per controllo di espressione a pedale e due uscite per cuffie. Si possono registrare fino a 16 tracce contemporaneamente (usando la scheda opzionale AIB-8 input board).. Ogni traccia dispone di 8 tracce virtuali per un complessivo di 128 tracce sul D16XD e 256 tracce del D32XD. L’hard disk incorporato ( 40GB) consente la registrazione di 188 ore (singola traccia) e multiple partizioni di 2 GB possono essere allocate alla porta USB per permettere un diretto accesso al computer nelle modalità di copia,. back up o import/export dei files tra i due sistemi.
Il mixer a 64 bit del D32XD offre una struttura a 56-canali /14 bus. I fader dei 16 canali principali sono del tipo 100 mm (professionali) motorizzati per missaggi dinamici automatizzati .Tutte le tracce sfruttano un sistema di equalizzazione a 4 bande (sia in registrazione che Playback) con il controllo diretto di ogni banda sul layout di lavoro.Il canale Sub-Mix dispone inoltre di un EQ 2-band shelving EQ, e 8-band parametric EQ per l’equalizzazione Master.Una mandata (send) Aux con potenziometro e 4 switch e’ inoltre messa a disposizione sul pannello di controllo.Il modello D16XD, con i fader non motorizzati, offre molte delle caratteristiche del modello superiore. Entrambi supportano la memorizzazione delle scene per un richiamo istantaneo delle impostazioni.
La serie XD e’ dotata di un display 320 x 240 pixel TouchView retroilluminato.La navigazione attraverso questo display risulta semplice ed intuitiva Tutte le informazioni. dal routine all’EQ risultano comprensibili al primo sguardo !
L’editing digitale permette le seguenti caratteristiche:
Auto/manual punch in/out, Copy, Erase, Undo, Reverse, Normalize, e Fade, piu’ alcune nuove specifiche come Time Expansion/Compression (in molti casi chiamato anche Time stretching). Entrambe i registratori dispongono del DSP effetti a 56 bit con riverberi, compressori, chorus ed altri rinomati effetti della tecnologia REMS di altissima qualità ! Nel dettaglio 128 effetti (con 409 algoritmi) sono pronti all’uso ….piu’ 128 programmabili dall’utente.Il D 32 XD dispone di 24 effetti insert mentre il D 16XD fino ad 8.Entrambe hanno effetti Master e di Finalizzazione.
Con questi due nuovi Recorder potrete assemblare e masterizzare I Vs Cd in modalità “ Disc At Once" oppure canzone dopo canzone !.Le Canzoni potranno essere riorganizzate con l’ordine da voi preferito, inserite pause.e Ids editabili prima della masterizzazione.
Il Vs missaggio finale, prima della masterizzazione, sarà possibile effettuarlo sulle tracce dedicate (..le Master Tracks con le ulteriori 8 tracce virtuali per i vari missaggi di ogni song) ! In aggiunta a tutto questo troverete inoltre delle librerie di EQ pronte all’uso, utility per facilitare la scrittura dei nomi, 6 punti Locator ed un metronomo interno con una sezione Drum che dispone di una nutrita collezione di pattern per le vostre idee musicali.
Incredibili espansioni offrono delle possibilità entusiasmanti per questi due nuovi digital recorder.
La AIB-8 e’ una card che propone 8 ingressi analogici da 1/4" inputs (per un massimo di 16 ingressi), mentre la ACB-8 dispone di 8 ingressi dotati di compressore analogico di supporto per la AIB-8. In aggiunta la scheda digitale DIB-8 offre la connessione ADAT ® a 24-bit con il sistema ottico I/O e Word Clock
